PLACE OF STUDY: BA Hons. History of Art, University of London; Fine Art Degree, Byam Shaw School of Art, London; MA, Art Theory, Chelsea College, London.

COLLECTIONS: Books are in the collection of the V & A, Tate Gallery, Yale Centre for British Art and the Poetry Library, London.

STATEMENT: My books have evolved alongside a varied multimedia practice. Ideas derived from books have led to multimedia works or the other way around. Fruit labels, as markers of global agriculture and economics, feature in many of the books. Others books explore the way we live while some suggest states of mind. I write short poetical prose. Sometimes the writing comes first, at other times the drawings or images suggest the text. Some books are exclusively images based. I am involved in all stages of the making of the books. They are digitally printed and hand bound.

After only a page she could  still guess what the first line had been but she had not idea what she had written after that. Comforted and content she went on writing every day of her life.” Text and drawings.
