PLACE OF STUDY: private study over many years, plus Centro del bel libro, Ascona
COLLECTIONS: private collections
STATEMENT: I have specialised since 2001 in combining bookbinding with collage work, and so created intricate, hand-cut, three-dimensional scenes hidden within the pages of my handbound books - miniature, dreamlike worlds in paper. These works are based on my own photographs or found images, and often explore nature and the borders of the human world. My work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions of artists' books and paper art.

COURSES: I am based in Vienna where I offer weekend workshops in both English and German, teaching various bookbinding techniques such as coptic binding, case binding and leporello (concertina) books, as well as how to make a clamshell box for a book.
