Bookmarks III, Infiltrating Kontakt, european travelling exhibition of book artists' bookmarks, Autumn 2005 STATEMENT: With the contents of my bookcase expanding, I recently decided a shelving system was in order. Moving from Alphabetical and Shelving-By-Size, I finally settled on a satisfactory solution. Visitors to my front room are now faced with six shelves of books in beautiful colour order. The artist's books I make (part of a wider artistic practice) deal with the themes of originality, authorship and repetition not because I think everything has already been said, but because there is always something to add to the conversation, by way of a little rearrangement to the order of things.
